JESUS IS THE CORNERSTONE
Ever looked through a pair of binoculars from the wrong end?
We did in KidZone and found out that our friends at the other end of the room looked very, very far away. But when we looked through the correct end, they became very close up. Even though they were all the way across the room, we felt as if they were standing right next to us. In our Scripture reading, Ephesians 2:11-22, Paul said we were once very far away from God, but through Jesus, we have been brought near to him. We were once without God and had no hope before God's love reached down and found us. Paul tells us to always remember what we were before Jesus. For us, Jesus is like the cornerstone of a building. With him, we stand straight and tall. Without him, we fall.
