GET READY, GET SET, GO!
Kids K-4 through 8th grade join us each week this summer as we have fun with sports that represent some of the character traits of the Christian life. The sports in the summer Olympic games require commitment, focus, balance, strength, and endurance. How are these same qualities important in our day-to-day lives as Christians?
Come see some of our very own athletes and find out what they say about what it takes to be successful in their sport and how it compares to what is needed to live our lives for Christ. Along the way we will learn about early twentieth-century Olympic athlete and missionary to China, Eric Liddell. Our games schedule is:
July 10 - Track and Field; July 17 - Archery; July 24 - Gymnastics; July 31 - Weight Lifting; August 7 - Swimming.
Don't miss the games, music, and Scripture (and medals!) Practice the memory verse, Hebrews 12:1-2 and be ready to recite it at our Closing Ceremony on August 14. You're sure to win gold this summer!
See you in KidZone (K4-5th grades) and Cross Walk (6th - 8th grades) every Sunday at 10am.
